As a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer on our Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB) team, you’ll play a pivotal role in building trust and driving customer success. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives to craft territory, account, and opportunity strategies. By engaging directly with prospective clients, you’ll build lasting relationships, understand their unique challenges, and demonstrate how Cisco’s cybersecurity solutions can protect and elevate their businesses.


Your Impact:

We’re looking for someone who thrives on sharing their enthusiasm for technology and making it accessible to everyone—from security operations teams to C-level executives, and even those less familiar with tech. You’re a natural self-starter who excels at building consultative relationships and crafting sales strategies that position Cisco as the partner of choice.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate, tell compelling stories, and translate complex technology into approachable insights for diverse audiences.

  • A competitive spirit and a drive to contribute to a winning sales team.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Thai, as the role supports customers in Thailand.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity and networking technologies, including concepts, standards, and operations.

  • Proven experience in presales, SMB-focused roles, or similar customer-facing positions.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent credentials.

  • Multilingual abilities to connect with a wider range of customers.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience, combined with 1-3 years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., solutions engineer, consultant, or customer success engineer).

Compensation and Benefits (U.S. and Canada):

  • Salary Range: The posted range reflects the projected hiring range for full-time roles in U.S. and Canada locations, excluding equity or benefits. Non-sales roles reflect base salary only, while sales roles include base and incentive compensation.
