Delivering seamless mobile experiences (iOS and Android) for apps built on our platform is essential to achieving our mission. As part of our intensified focus on providing world-class mobile support, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our mobile teams into the next stage of growth and innovation at Airtable.
What You’ll Do
Strategy and Execution: Drive the strategy, planning, and execution for our iOS and Android engineering teams.
Inclusive Culture: Foster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative team environment that encourages impactful outcomes.
Mentorship: Mentor a team of passionate and skilled engineers, supporting senior engineers to maximize their contributions while coaching early-career engineers to grow and excel.
Technical Collaboration: Use your technical expertise to work alongside engineers in designing and building high-quality, sustainable products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, design, and sales teams to ensure a seamless cross-platform experience for our customers.
Process Improvement: Implement efficient processes to scale team productivity while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Who You Are
Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading teams in developing mission-critical product features and systems with a strong focus on quality.
Product Ownership: Skilled in defining product requirements, managing trade-offs, and driving customer adoption.
Team Development: Experience managing and developing mid-level, senior, and staff engineers.
Technical Background: At least 5 years of experience as an engineer and 2 years as a manager, or an equivalent combination.
Mobile Expertise: Preferred experience in mobile app development and/or leading mobile engineering teams.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is based on work location, relevant skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation.
For roles based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this position is:
