David Nzai

I am an Electrical and Electronics Engineer with First Class Honors and practical experience across electrical engineering, electrical design, solar PV, power systems, audiovisual and IT systems, telecommunications, and technical project execution. My professional experience spans engineering design, technical sales, project support, client engagement, and the preparation and review of technical solutions.

I have hands-on experience working with engineering drawings, AutoCAD-based designs, electrical systems, technical specifications, project documentation, and multidisciplinary project requirements. Through my experience at organizations including Tisco Construction Company, Servcon Associates Limited, Audiovisual Collaboration Technologies, and KETRACO, I have developed the ability to translate engineering concepts into practical, safe, and technically sound solutions.

As a mentor, my goal is to help students and professionals strengthen their technical thinking, review their project work, identify design gaps, and develop solutions that align with engineering principles, applicable standards, and real-world practice. I believe in a practical and supportive mentoring approach where mentees are encouraged to understand not only what needs to be corrected, but also why it needs to be corrected.

I look forward to helping mentees build confidence in their technical work, improve their design and problem-solving skills, and prepare for successful engineering careers.
