I am Iheagwam Ambrose Ebuka, a Nigerian oil and gas professional with a Higher National Diploma (HND) from Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. I have practical experience in Measurement While Drilling (MWD), gyroscopic surveying, directional drilling operations, and drilling support activities across offshore, onshore, and swamp environments. My professional experience encompasses drilling survey operations, gyro technology, MWD systems, survey corrections, north seeking alignment, and drilling equipment preparation and maintenance. I have also gained exposure to different operational departments, including MWD laboratory operations, drilling support, equipment logistics, loadout activities, and fishing operations. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of the technical and operational demands of the oil and gas industry. I am committed to maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, equipment reliability, survey accuracy, and wellbore positioning. I understand the importance of precision, teamwork, safety, and effective communication in drilling environments, where technical decisions can significantly influence operational performance and nonproductive time. Beyond my core engineering career, I have a strong interest in data analytics, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power BI. I am interested in leveraging data analysis and visualization to improve operational reporting, identify performance trends, support evidence based decision making, and enhance efficiency in the energy sector. I consider myself a technically oriented professional who values continuous learning, adaptability, accountability, and practical problem solving.
