Program Summary

Aerospace systems engineering is the discipline that turns an aircraft concept into a verified, certifiable design. This program builds a practical foundation in that work: how requirements are written and decomposed under ARP4754A, how aircraft-level budgets of mass, power and performance are held, how interfaces between systems are controlled, and how safety assessment and verification evidence are produced.

Alongside the technical modules, the program includes hands-on labs and a virtual internship. You will decompose aircraft requirements, hold a set of budgets, write interface control documents, run a functional hazard assessment, and finish with project work you can show to an employer.

Your Educational Path

Decompose an aircraft-level requirement down to a system requirement that a test could actually pass or fail, and keep the trace intact.

Hold mass, power and performance budgets simultaneously and show what breaks when one system asks for more than its allocation.

Run a functional hazard assessment on an aircraft function and derive the design requirements the hazard actually implies.
