Launch Your Career as a Drone Inspection Specialist

Inspection is not flying - it is evidence. This program teaches you to plan a capture, get imagery that stands up to scrutiny, find the defect and write the report an asset owner will act on.

Program Summary

Drone inspection is the work of producing defensible condition evidence about a physical asset from the air. This program builds a practical foundation in that work: how a capture is planned for coverage and resolution, what ground sample distance actually means for defect detection, how imagery is processed and defects classified, and how a report is written so an engineer can make a decision from it.

Alongside the technical modules, the program includes hands-on labs and a virtual internship. You will plan captures, work with real inspection imagery, classify defects against a severity scheme, build a repeatable reporting workflow, and finish with project work you can show to an employer.
